Short and sour.

A while ago, I got a website. I thought it might be useful for promoting my various activities but the problem was I didn’t really have any activities. I wrote the occasional radio show and sometimes had a book out but all that, while great, was hardly social media gold. So I decided that, being a content provider, I would provide content for the website. I couldn’t see myself sticking whole scripts up there, because long is bad on the internet, which left me with the power of brevity. I would instead post short stories: true, I hadn’t written many short stories before but it was worth a try, especially when my wife suggested setting myself the challenge of writing one a month. Which I actually did, for a few years.

At some point, I approached a publisher, Into Creative, to see if they might publish them, and they did. I am very happy with the end result (the front cover alone is worth buying the book for). And, as Christmas is coming, I thought I might give the book a plug. It’s called AND OTHER STORIES: and here is me reading a story called THIN SUIT.
